Puppy Play
The work of puppyhood is play and socialization with the outside world. We invite children over to play with them, which both puppies and children enjoy. They are brushed every day so they get used being handled and played with. Still with their mom, Ginny teaches them not bite hard, not to take things away from her, like tasty bits of food! A lot of their play, however, is with each other. Favorite games are: pull your brother/sister's tail, pick up the toy and play keep away - racing with it as fast as you can. Putting a red cup on your head and trying to run away. Dragging the stuffed snake around and seeing how many puppies you can get to chase you - and many others! Oh, and digging, how did I forget digging holes!
